Extracts

Shatter

Shatter is a type of BHO cannabis extract. Shatter specifically refers to a texture of concentrate that breaks and/or appears like glass, though demands for "snap and pull" style give a slight taffy appeal.

It is created by extracting the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant usually from cured and often frozen cannabis.

Live Resin

While the production process of BHO/PHO is relatively simple, producing Live Resin is a lot more complex.

Live Resin is produced in a very similar fashion to B/PHO, but with fresh, flash frozen bud, as opposed to bud that has been dried and cured.

Wax

Cannabis Wax refers to the softer, opaque oils that have lost their transparency after extraction. Unlike those of transparent oils, the molecules of cannabis wax crystallize as a result of agitation. Light can’t travel through irregular molecular densities, and that refraction leaves us with a solid, non-transparent oil.

Hashish

Hashish is a sticky, thick, dark-colored resin (plant juice) which is made from the flower of the female cannabis plant.

The cannabis leaves and flowers contain chemicals known as cannabinoids. One cannabinoid is THC, which gives a person who smokes or eats parts of the cannabis plant a feeling of euphoria. The remaining spectrum of cannabinoids aid in treating a variety of health concerns.

Distillate

Distillates are used for both inhaling and oral ingestion. Due to having already had the THC activated, distillate will bring quick results for patients who need fast acting medication.

Thanks to having had all the impurities and chemicals removed, you’re left with a very clean smoke or vapour. Most of all this greatly improves it’s overall appeal to users who are adverse to harsh smoke.

CBD

While CBD still has an effect on your body, consuming CBD by itself isn’t going to send you on the cerebral adventure associated with THC.

For decades, medical professionals and the general public overlooked CBD because psychoactive cannabis took center stage.

Good for treating:

  • antioxidant
  • neuroprotectant
  • anxiolytic

  • analgesic
  • anti-tumoral agent
  • anti-psychotic
